This is a 10-bed board and lodge facility located on Brainerd Ave. in Duluth which was grand-fathered in to provide residential care services under the waiver.  There are six single rooms, and two shared bedrooms.  There are both male and female residents ranging in age from 18 to early 60’s.  There is one awake staff 24 hours a day, with a second staff during portions of the day for appointments, recreation, additional services, etc.  Most individuals in this setting should be able to come and go without supervision.  We plan to do some remodeling in 2008/9; adding bedrooms (so everyone will have their own), bathrooms, recreation room, and 3-season porch.
